Kit Parkinson, Chairman
Kit is Chairman of the Metrowater Community Trust. He is a member of the Institute
of Directors and has strong governance skills. Having lived in Auckland
for the whole of his life, Kit is married with three children and
is a company director with both corporate and self-employed business
experience. He has a BA in Politics and a CBC in computer studies.

Christine Koefoed, Treasurer
Appointed to the Trust at the time it was inaugurated, in February, 2001, as Mayor's Representative. Christine was appointed as a Trustee in February, 2002. Trust Secretary from 2001 to 2006. Currently Trust Treasurer.
Background in community service. Life Member of the Royal NZ Plunket Society, Justice of the Peace. Member of the RNZ Yacht Squadron, involved with Race Management. Currently working in Chartered Accounting practice in the city.

Toni Millar
Toni has been an Auckland City Councillor from 2004 – present, She was the Chairman of the Eastern Bays Community Board from 2001 to 2004.
Member of the following organisations: Justices of the Peace Association (Auckland), Friends of Auckland Art Gallery, Metrowater Community Trust.
Her community involvement includes: Justice of the Peace for New Zealand, Rotary Club of St Johns Inc. St Heliers Bay Village Association (Mainstreet), St Heliers / Glendowie Residents’ Associations, Friends of St Johns Bush Inc. Friends of Waiatarua, Auckland East Arts Council Inc – life member.

Shona Hutchinson
Shona has many years experience as a senior manager in central government. Secretary for the Auckland United Nations Association of NZ and active member of Toastmasters. Passsionate about family and community involvement and strong believer in the necessity and benefits of community support. Trustee since 2005.

Thakor Parbhu Q.S.M., LL.B.
Thakor has spent most of his life helping and assisting people since his youth when he was assisting Dr Barnado’s Homes and Corso.
In recent years he has been involved with the Auckland Indian Association and the NZ Indian Association of both he is past President and life member. He has also been the Foundation member and past President of the Auckland Regional Ethnic Council to protect ethnic peoples rights and to settle in N.Z. He is also a former trustee of the Auckland Regional Migrant Services which is located in Three Kings Plaza.

Keith Williams
A born and breed Aucklander, he spent many years working in the Travel Industry prior to being a self employed Event Manager with contracts to Rally New Zealand, Rally of Rotorua, Auckland Marathon, and the 25th Anniversary of the ASB Bank Auckland Secondary Schools Maori and Pacific Island Cultural Festival. He now works for Auckland City Council with City Events in the Events and Film Operation team who facilitate events in Auckland City.
Current member (sectary) of the Rotary Club of Epsom, Current Board of Trustee member of Riverina School (Pakuranga), as EEO spokesperson and Deputy Chairperson, He lives with his partner Raewyn and they have 4 children and 1 grandchild. Keith joined the trust in 2005 as he wanted to put something back into the Auckland Community, and believed that the trust is the best way he can assist the Auckland community.

Irene Curry
Irene is a Justice of the Peace; she is a weekend volunteer at the Citizen’s Advice Bureau in New Lynn. As a Quality Auditor for a Government agency she has experience in the educational and training needs of a wide sector of the community participating in tertiary education.
She joined the Trust because of its mandate to assist community members with water related needs and the Trust’s promotion of water conservation. She believes the Trust is an organisation with integrity that has developed a lateral approach to water conservation assistance.

Heather Reeve
Has worked as secretary/administrator for many years for a number of organisations, both commercial and not for profit and has done considerable charitable work for West Auckland Hospice and the SPCA. I have been administrator for the Metrowater Community Trust since February 2006 and enjoy the opportunity to help families and individuals in need. I am a strong supporter of caring for the environment and have a passion for water conservation.
